Giveaway winner picker

Paste a YouTube video link, download the comments, set the number of winners and draw them with one click – no duplicates, with a reserve list.

In short: Paste a YouTube video link and download the comments (or paste your own list, one person per line), choose the number of winners and press “Draw”. The tool removes duplicates and you can copy the result under your video or to Discord.

Download comments from YouTube

How to use it

  1. Paste a YouTube video link and press “Download comments” – the comment authors become the participants. You can also paste your own list, one person per line.
  2. Set the number of winners and, if you like, how many reserve winners you want.
  3. Tick “One entry per person” so everybody has the same chance regardless of how many times they appear.
  4. Press “Draw” and copy the result.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick winners from video comments?

Paste the video link and press “Download comments”. The tool fetches up to the 5000 newest comments (without replies) through the official YouTube API, and with “One entry per person” every author counts once. You can also require a phrase that the comment must contain. Comments must be enabled on the video.

Is the draw fair and verifiable?

It uses the browser’s cryptographic random generator and a Fisher-Yates shuffle, so every combination is equally likely. The result includes the date and number of participants so you can show it in your giveaway announcement.

What is a reserve list?

Extra people drawn after the winners. If somebody does not claim a prize, you simply take the next person from the reserve list without redrawing.

Can the same person be drawn twice?

No. One person can be drawn only once in a single draw.
