Metin2 calculators
Three quick calculators for players: skill cooldown, skill crit and Dark Protection durability.
In short: The Metin2 calculators work out the real skill cooldown after the spell speed bonus and the healer shaman's Agility buff, the real skill crit chance from the crit on your character and the number of hits Sura's Dark Protection withstands.
How to use it
- Choose a calculator – spell cooldown, skill crit or Dark Protection.
- Enter the values from the skill tooltip, your equipment or character stats.
- The result appears right under the fields.
- Compare with in-game values – on servers with changed balance the results may differ.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the real cooldown of a skill?
CD = base cooldown × 100 / (100 + X + S × m), where X is the spell speed bonus, S is the bonus from the healer shaman's Agility buff (1 pt +4%, M +19%, G +30%, P +44%) and m = 1.2 if you are the healer shaman yourself, otherwise 1.
How does crit work on skills?
Skills use a smaller part of your crit than normal attacks. Below 10 crit the chance is X/2, from 10 the formula is 5 + (X − 10)/4, so 100% needs 390 crit.
How many hits does Dark Protection withstand?
From every hit the shield soaks 1/3 of the damage (rounded down) and mana pays (100 − tooltip percent)% of that value. Mana cost per hit = ⌊⌊damage / 3⌋ × (100 − percent) / 100⌋ and full hits = ⌊mana / cost⌋. The mana left after the full hits still covers part of the last hit.
Are the results exact on every server?
The results reproduce the game mechanics including rounding down. Private servers may change balance, so treat the result as a very good estimate and compare it with the game.
