Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel of fortune fair?
Yes. The winner is chosen by the browser’s random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) the moment you click, and the animation only shows the result that was already drawn. Every option has the same chance.
How many options can I add?
Up to 100. Every line of a pasted list becomes its own entry; empty lines are skipped.
What is the difference between classic and elimination mode?
In classic mode all options stay on the wheel after every spin. In elimination mode the drawn option moves to the “Eliminated” list and no longer takes part – handy for drawing several prizes.
Is my data stored on a server?
No. The list and result history live only in your browser (localStorage) and you can clear them at any time.
