Catch the King – simulator and odds helper
Play the simulator, learn the rules and work out the odds – how many points the next slot will bring.
In short: Catch the King is a Metin2 minigame with a 5×5 board of hidden cards: seven 1s, four 2s, five 3s, five 4s, three 5s and one King. You play the cards in your hand one after another: a higher card reveals the slot and lets you go on, an equal card ends the turn with points, a lower card ends it with none, and the King has to be caught in a single move for 100 points. From 10 points you get a Bronze Loot, from 400 Silver, from 550 Gold.

How to use it
- Start with the lowest card in your hand and click any hidden slot on the board.
- Your card higher than the slot: you get points (value × 10) and keep playing the same card. Equal: points and the next card from your hand. Lower: no points and the next card.
- Careful with a 5: if another hidden 5 lies next to the chosen slot (diagonals count), your card is caught and you get no points.
- At the end you get the King and one move – catch the King and you earn 100 points. A full row or column gives 10 points each.
Frequently asked questions
How are points counted in Catch the King?
A revealed card gives 10 points times its value (1 → 10, 5 → 50), the King gives 100 and every fully revealed row or column adds another 10 points.
What rewards do I get?
From 10 to 399 points – Bronze Royal Loot, 400 to 549 – Silver, from 550 – Gold. Below 10 points there is no reward.
What is the 5 trap?
If you play a 5 and one of the neighbouring slots (diagonals included) holds another hidden 5, your card is caught: the turn ends with no points. The odds helper shows this risk separately.
How does the odds helper work?
From the cards still on the board it calculates the probability that the next slot is lower than, equal to or higher than your card, the risk of the 5 trap and the expected points from one move.
